What’s New at Cast Your Anchor?

Toronto Offshore Super Series: The Offshore Super Series (OSS) powerboats are hitting Canadian waters for the first time ever! From July 14th to 16th, OSS teams will race along the shoreline of Ontario Place at speeds upwards of 190 kilometres per hour! And Cast Your Anchor will be there. Be sure to visit our booth in the SpeedZone Area.

Breaking News: Cast Your Anchor is
pleased to offer a Bulletin Board for any club that is interested in advertising its events. Provide the details and we would be pleased to include it in our monthly newsletter. See below.

Radio Control: The season is upon us!!! Come and check out our new line of books dealing with the radio control hobby. We are fully stocked on radio control sail and power boats. We support the Soling and Victoria class of sailing boats. We have a full range of parts, batteries and power supplies. Have questions? – our in store technician will be happy to help.

Kites: Ever seen a kite in the shape of a boat with sails and decorated as a pirate ship? Ever seen a 3 masted pirate ship with black sails? These are just a few of some of our unusual gifts. Come in and see our complete line of nautical gifts.

They’re Back: You saw them first at the Hobby Show in November. We have received another shipment of completed models. Great quality at a great price. These won’t last. Come in and check it out. Makes a great gift. Some of the ships are Le Soleil Royal, HMS Prince, Cutty Sark, Bluenose, Constitution, Victory, Endeavour and many more.

What’s Coming
Model Registry: Cast Your Anchor is proposing to build a database of ship models that are built by our customers. Some of the information to be included would be the name of the builder, the owner, the year in which it was completed and some of the characteristics of the model. This database would be used to authenticate models. The model would be issued a certificate. The database would be managed by Cast Your Anchor and be archived within a nautical museum. Please indicate if you would like to have your model registered.
Our customers make a difference. Please let us know if there is a particular activity or product that you would like us to consider. We truly appreciate the feedback that we have received so far and look forward to more of your excellent suggestions.

See you at the store
